Pierre Sparr Cremant D'Alsace Brut Rosé @ $26.99: Winemaker Notes: 100% Pinot Noir. Salmon pink color with fresh aromas of soft red berries, predominantly strawberry and raspberry. On the palate, round and fruity with hints of peach. The flavors are intense, with lively acidity framed by a well-made structure and delicate bubbles. The finish is smooth, clean and dry. Perfect for cocktail parties, aperitif, but also excellent with seafood and shellfish dishes.
By Ott Cotes De Provence Rosé 2024 @ $24.99: Winemaker Notes: Pastel pink hue with soft, rosewood tints. The wine displays a fresh nose redolent of red berries, citrus fruits and white blossom. It is luscious and fruity on the palate with a smooth and silky mouthfeel. Fresh notes of citrus zest accompany the persistent finish. Blend: 60% Grenache, 26% Cinsault, 7% Syrah, 7% Mourvèdre
Livio Felluga Friulano 2022 @ $29.99: Friulano is officially called Sauvignonasse; this lean, dry, herbal white is often mistaken for Sauvignon Blanc. You’ll find it in abundance in Northeastern Italy in Friuli-Venezia Giulia (next to Slovenia and Austria). Winemaker Notes: Intense straw-yellow with lively golden hues. Piquant and complex, fruity and floral. Hints of ginger and medicinal herbs alongside citrus fruit, quince, nectarines and dried papaya. Prominent floral notes of calla lilies and broom, and a pronounced minerally finish. Palate: Smooth and stylish, with generous, mouth filling fruity sensations nicely lingering to the finish, rich in citrus notes and a pleasing echo of mineral hints. James Suckling: Subtle and refined on both the nose and palate with peach pie and mineral with hints of nutmeg. Medium body. Round and creamy. Spicy at the end. Wine Folly: A great choice alongside salads and roasted green vegetables. This is one of the few wines that can stand up to challenging pairings like green beans, artichokes, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts.
Domaine Wachau Federspiel Gruner Veltliner (Austria) 2024 @ $17.99: Winemaker note: Distinctive aromas of green apple, white pepper, hints of mango and delicate herbal notes. This Federspiel is a classic example of Grüner Veltliner with its medium-body crisp acidity, juicy fruits, and white spice on the finish.
Pazo Das Bruxas Albariño 2023 (Rias Baixas, Spain) @ $23.99: Winemaker Notes: Luminous and clear straw yellow color. Clean and intense floral aromas with deliciously ripe citrus notes (pineapple preserves). Rich and flavorful, with lush extract and a seductive mid-palate. James Suckling: A simple, fragrant nose with nectarines, white blossoms and a briny touch. Salty and peachy on the palate with good energy in the saline finish.
Feudi Di San Gregorio Greco Di Tufo 2021 (Campania, Italy) @ $19.99: Winemaker Notes:
The nose is intense and persistent with clear sensations of fruit. On the palate, broad acidity and spicy minerality, typical of a vine cultivated in Tufo. Immediately following, there are soft notes of balsamic. Drink with fish, mozzarella and white meats. James Suckling: Peaches, lemons, oregano and crushed stones on the nose. Tangy on the palate with a medium body and crisp finish.
