Provides scholarships to confirmation students to enable their participation in the annual class trip and supplements other special class activities.

Klei Kodesh (Ritual) Fund

Provides for the care, repair, and replacement of Bet Shalom’s sacred ritual items (klei kodesh), including prayer books, Torah scrolls, Torah commentaries, and other ritual objects used in worship and congregational life. Donations help ensure that these essential items remain in good condition for current and future generations.

The office shall ensure that donations of $36 result in an acknowledgement in a prayer book, and donations of $72 will inscribe a Torah commentary. Additional contributions may support the maintenance and restoration of Torah scrolls and other ritual items as needed. The Rabbi and Ritual Committee may authorize the use of these funds.

This fund was established to honor Cantor Lipsett-Allison's love of community. It will support large congregational programming not funded by the Bet Shalom budget, specific to education and culture.
