Social Action Subcommittees
Affordable Housing
Affordable Housing: Our involvement with Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative is the principle focus of this subcommittee, with our members connecting with other faith communities to address the need for affordable housing in the Twin Cities.
Racial Justice
This subcommittee is exploring how each of us as individuals and as a collective can become actively involved in racial justice in Minnesota and beyond.
Immigration
Seeking ways to support people coming into our community is an essential part of our commitment to Tikkun Olam.
Food Security
Every year Bet Shalom members contribute thousands of pounds of food and household supplies to ICA Food Shelf in Minnetonka.
Climate Justice
Working closely with the West Metro Climate Hub, the members of this subcommittee are committed to motivating others to take action to address the climate crisis.
