Spring is slow to arrive this year, but the migrating birds are starting to arrive! We have the following activitiy currently scheduled for May 17. More details and activities may follow in the coming weeks. You also are welcome to send additional activity suggestions to Rita (ritainmtka@gmail.com) or Brian (bps5252@gmail.com).
Heather Holm will lead a private Bet Shalom birder bird survey at Cullen Nature Preserve in Minnetonka. Heather is an award-winning author of books on pollinator-friendly native plant gardens, bees, and wasps. Wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and if you want, bring binoculars and paper & pencil to jot down what you see. We’ll meet at the Meadow Park parking lot at 2725 Oakland Road, Minnetonka at 8:30 a.m. and walk ¼ mile north to the nondescript entrance (former Cullen driveway) on the left side of Oakland Road. Please contact Rita if you are planning to attend so that she and Heather know how many people to expect.
