Cava Jaume Giró i Giró Brut Reserva @ $21.99: 37% Xarello, 30% Parellada, 20% Macabeu, 10% Chardonnay and 3% Pinot Noir. Winemaker Notes:  Using the traditional “methode champenoise”, our Brut Reserva has a good release of fine bubbles with yellow and green notes. A fruity nose: apple, peach and tropical fruit hints of pineapple and citrus. Crisp and dry in the mouth with its touch of acidity balanced by a hint of sugar that’s typical of a Brut. A very well structured and balanced Cava with a finish that lingers well onto the next sip.

Torres Pazo Das Bruxas Albariño 2023 Rias Baixas, Spain @ $21.99: (“Palace of the Witches” in Galician)Winemaker Notes: Luminous and clear straw yellow color. Clean and intense floral aromas with deliciously ripe citrus notes (pineapple preserves). Rich and flavorful, with lush extract and a seductive mid-palate. James Suckling: A simple, fragrant nose with nectarines, white blossoms and a briny touch. Salty and peachy on the palate with good energy in the saline finish.

Juan Gil Blue Label Monastrell 2021 @ $29.99: 60% Monastrell, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah, a blend of hand-selected grapes from older parcels, averaging 75 years with low yields.

Wine Spectator: An aromatic thread of toast, licorice, vanilla and Mediterranean macchia winds through generous flavors of plum sauce and blackberry paste. Full-bodied but fresh and well-structured, this red is firmed by chalky, integrated tannins that sculpt the long, lasting finish.

Pagos del Camino Loriñon Rioja Reserva 2015 @ $34.99/BOGO: 85% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha, 5% Graciano. Winemaker’s notes: Aromas of ripe fruit and hints of spices, leather and balsamic with quality fine oak. In the mouth it shows a wide structure, elegant and complex, with tannins round and friendly. (Camino refers to Camino de Santiago which is next to the winery)

Alto Moncayo Garnacha 2021 Campo de Borja, Spain @ $39.99 Winemaker Notes: Opaque red-black in color with a scarlet rim. Initially closed on the nose, the wine opens to an amalgam of minerals and unctuous super-ripe berries. Deep, rich and ripe on the palate, where black fruits (cherries, plums) give way to hints of licorice, molasses and a hint of cinnamon. Solid tannins and focused acidity with a long finish. Wine Enthusiast: Deep garnet in the glass, this wine has an enticing nose of black currant, cocoa powder and coffee bean. It offers gorgeous layers of fruit and spice dotted with flecks of chocolate. Powerful tannins gradually mellow out and leave behind touches of cherry and chocolate.
