New Member Profile: Ashley Auerbach and Jared Paquin

BASICS: What are your names and any nicknames?

Ashley Auerbach & Jared Paquin 

YOU: Tell us about you and your family.

Jared and Ashley live in Minnetonka with their dog, Bailey. Jared grew up in northern Minnesota (Warroad) and Ashley is from Eden Prairie. They recently moved back home to Minnesota from Texas, where they lived for a few years while Ashley earned her PhD in Biomedical Sciences. Ashley and Jared both work from home full-time, Jared works in finance at Allina and Ashley is a Medical Writer at VML Health. They got married in November 2025 and in their free time enjoy reading, watching movies, golfing, and spending time with family.

Ashley's parents David and Kelly and siblings Josh (Merlyn) and Eliana live close by and are also members of Bet Shalom, making the community especially meaningful to our family.

Belonging to a synagogue means joining the Jewish community and helping to contribute to the welcoming and supportive culture.

HERE: Why did you choose Bet Shalom?

We chose Bet Shalom because we wanted to join a synagogue that feels welcoming, inclusive, and deeply connected to the community.
