Grenache - Others by D66 Catalan Red Wine 2015 @ $29.99: Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:

Not far behind its big brother, the 2015 Côtes Catalanes Others checks in as a blend of 75% Grenache, 10% Syrah and the balance Carignan, Mourvèdre and Lladoner. Currants, black raspberries, spices and chocolate all emerge from this rich, supple, beautifully textured effort. Wine & Spirits: As bold as you would expect from a wine by Dave Phinney, the Californian who launched The Prisoner, this is a huge red, lush with super-ripe berry flavors. A blend of Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Syrah, it succeeds in the style by backing that fruit with firm, nutty tannins to balance the sweetness. It ends cleanly, lasting on fragrance, a sumptuous red for thick cut steaks.

Syrah - Crozes Hermitage Michel Poinard 2019 @ $21.99: Wine Chateau: Attractive aromas of cracked pepper, loam & plum. It's medium to full bodied, supple & concentrated on the palate, with a long, velvety finish. The wines are quite perfumed with a good amount of tannins and lively acidity.

Mourvèdre - Domaine Tempier Bandol Rouge 2019 @ $49.99 (reg. $70): 75% Mourvèdre, 14% Grenache, 9% Cinsault, 2% Carignan. Chris Santini, Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant: Remarkably fresh and approachable for a region known for brawn. Perfectly balanced, delicious with a slight chill; wonderfully perfumed of sandalwood and spring blossoms.

GSM Blend - Maison Louis Bernard Gigondas 2016 @ $24.99: 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 20% Cinsault and 10% Mourvèdre. Natalie Maclean: A well-balanced, juicy, full-bodied Gigondas from Louis Bernard, luxurious with smooth dark cherry, dark raspberry, savoury spice and grilled herbs generous on the palate. Drinking beautiful now. Pair with grilled rack of lamb.

It's a smoking good base cuvée that offers perfumed black raspberries, violets, sweet spice, and exotic pepper aromas and flavors. Rich, medium to full-bodied, packed with fruit, balanced, and lengthy.
