It features fresh red berries, floral hints, and a delicate, crisp palate with persistent bubbles and a lively, lightly spiced finish.
Pascal Jolivet Sancerre 2024 @ $44.99: Saratoga Wines: Pale, whitish straw in color. The nose is very fresh, very clean with notes of lime peel, green herbs, black currant; typical, not aggressive. On the palate it is fresh and tightly wound; acidity is tempered by very subtle residual sugar; very clean; alive, racy, youthful. Overall, a dry and elegant wine, well balanced.
Jean Bouchard Pouilly Fuisse 2020 @ $39.99/BOGO (100% Chardonnay): Aging on fine lees, 70% in vats and 30% in oak barrels for 8 to 9 months. Winemaker notes: Nose: Light nose with notes of white flowers, complemented by vanilla and some smoky touches. Palate: A floral and round attack on the palate revealing a certain sweetness and a slight woody note. The dominant note remains mineral.
