New Member Profile: Jim Milavetz and Gisela Gierczak

BASICS: What are your names and any nicknames?

Jim Milavetz and Gisela Gierczak and our daughter, Vanessa Michele Milavetz.

YOU: Tell us about you and your family.

Jim: I am originally from Golden Valley and graduated from Hopkins High School (Lindbergh) in 1981.  Gisela is originally from Buenos Aires. I am a cardiologist with the Mayo Health System and Gisela works as a Human Resources administrator for Tecta America in Mankato.

BELONG: What does belonging to a synagogue mean to you?

It is important to us to raise Nessa as a Jewish member of our community.  I am so happy to be part of Bet Shalom!

HERE: Why did you choose Bet Shalom?

We live in Mankato, and we wanted to join a Reform synagogue that is closest to us and found Bet Shalom.
