Tzahov צהוב (Infants)

Happy Friday Tzahov Families!

Continuing with our ABC, 123 theme, our focus this week was on the first letter of each childs' name and counting fingers and toes. We also read lots of books and sang ABC's on repeat.

The babies had an opportunity to get messy with some finger painting. Painters tape was placed on a thick piece of paper, creating the first letter of their name. Each babe took turns smearing paint to cover the whole sheet. It's interesting to see how each baby reacts to the experience. Some are drawn to the color, others are drawn to the sticky texture of the paint.

Other activities this week include singing one little, two little, three little...fill in the blank and one, two buckle my shoe... The babes are drawn to the teachers singing, staring, with their eyes wide open. Favorite books read this week include Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Chicka Chicka 123, 5 Little Monkeys and 5 Chirpy Birds. Books are very engaging for the babes, as they hear, see, touch and flip the pages, helping their development in so many different ways.

On Thursday a new toy was brought in, creating excitement and curiosity. And now that all of our babies are moving, the climber was also brought back in for some large motor-filled fun.

We hope you have a safe and healthy weekend.
