Katom כתום (Infants)

Happy Friday Katom families!

It’s raining, it’s pouring!

This week we talked about rain in our weather theme. We decorated the room with raindrops falling from the ceiling and focused on rain colors such as blue, dark blue, white and gray.

We enjoyed listening to songs about the rain like “itsy-bitsy spider” “it’s raining it’s pouring“ and
“weather watcher“. We also read books about seasons and “when does it rain? in the fall? in the spring?”.

We brought in a sensory bottle with blue water and glitter so the kids can play with “rain drops”.

Next week will be focusing on snowy weather.

As the kids grow we see more and more interactions between them they play together talk to each other and learn to share toys.

We talk about gentle touches, sharing, personal space and being kind. It is never too early to learn social skills and that’s important for their social development.

We wish you a very non-rainy weekend with lots of end of summer sunshine!

Kindly,
Noa&Talya
