Yarok ירוק (Pre-K)

Hello Pre-K families,

This week pre-k reflected on time spent together in the Yarok Classroom.

We read the book In A Jar by Deborah Marcero, and talked about the different ways that we store memories like writing them down, taking photos, sharing them with others, and just keeping them in our minds! We talked about the memories that we have in our minds that remind us of the Yarok classroom. We drew pictures, narrated thoughts, and helped each other make memory books to take home next week!

We also made our own tie-dye shirts. Students chose which tie-dye design they wanted, then folded and shaped their shirts to make their chosen design. Students also chose their own colors, though an adult added the dye for them. We hope that everyone can wear their tie-dye for the last day of school next Friday. We are excited for the fun activities we have planned for the last week of the summer session, and can't believe how fast time has flown!
