Hello Katom Families!

This week we started our summer activities theme! We brought out beach toys, beach balls and towels for our friends to play with.

For our art project this week, we gave the kids watermelon cut outs and used black dot dot’s to make the seeds.

We also read some summer themed books, “Baby Loves Summer!”- Karen Katz, “Little mermaid”, and “Goodnight beach”. Three of our favorite theme songs are “Mr Sun”, “You are my sunshine” and “Row row row your boat”.

We were lucky enough to get a new and improved exersaucer! The kids love it and not to mention it fits perfectly in with our theme with sea animals on it! We are so excited to see what we’ll explore throughout this month.

This Friday is our friend Ethan’s last day before he moves up to Kahol! Ethan is such a funny, happy, sweet, loving kid. We are going to miss him very much but we are so excited for his next adventure, it was a pleasure to watch him grow over the past 13 months. Good luck Ethan!
