Katom כתום (Infants)

Happy Friday Katom families!

As we hike deeper in to the jungle we discover more and more interesting animals.

This week we have enjoyed circle time a lot! The kids look forward to it, pointing to the boxes that have fun activities and clapping their hands to “If You’re Happy and You Know It” as well as trying to hold tiny Tim the turtle and Saying Ei Ei Ei O in Old McDonald. it’s so fun to see the kids starting to repeat the sounds and movements! We also like to read “Hide and Seek Safari” by Sesame Street.

The weather was kind enough so we went for a long walk outside. We checked on the family of geese in the pond and we have counted their babies and are happy to report that they are all growing big and strong. No walk would ever be complete without stopping by to visit farmer Jake’s vegetable garden. He showed us some beautiful radishes in all sorts of colors such as red, purple and pink. The kids loved to see all of the different colors.

Our bubble machine has been the star of the show in are classroom the kids go crazy for bubble time!

On Wednesday (6/29) we will have a classroom dress up day! Please send your child with a themed matching outfit! It can be a animal Printed onesie or a full costume! anything works!
