Kahol כחול (Younger Toddler)

On Monday we talked about Earth and painted our own earth projects by squishing paint in plastic bags, it was a fun sensory project. We also colored aliens for a fun project to be done later in the week.

On Tuesday we took the aliens we colored and Teacher Tira hid them around the hallway, the kids loved going on an alien hunt! They were great explorers and found them all on their own!

Galaxy sensory bags were also a big hit on Tuesday. The Kahol teachers filled bags with water, gel, glitter and pom poms! It was fun to make and just as fun to squish!

Wednesday we launched rockets and practiced our countdown. The littles helped their teachers count up to three and down to three and used all their strength to launch the rockets. Some kiddos needed extra help but were just as entertained.

Thursday we played in a space themed sensory bin. We had black beans for the sky and pom poms for planets. The kids worked on their fine motor skills by scooping up the beans with spoons and filling up cups. They showed excellent team work by working together to fill up the cups.

Friday we plan on making paper towel roll telescopes with the kids and doing a large motor activity where they "reach for the stars" by trying to pull down some paper stars we will hang up.

Next week will be our last week with Nadav, Lilah, Makenna and Ellie! It is very bittersweet. We loved having them in our classroom family, but are very excited for them as they move into their new classroom!
