New Member Profile: Jacob and Jennifer Glickstein

BASICS: What are your names and any nicknames?

Jacob Glickstein (Jake) and Jennifer Glickstein (Jenny)

YOU: Tell us about you and your family.

Jenny is a St. Paul native and a Wisconsin Badger. Jake is from Milwaukee but is a Golden Gopher (played football for them). We have been married for 7 years, live in Golden Valley and now have 2 wonderful kids who go to Bet Shalom Yeladim. Jake is a mechanical engineer and runs a product development agency. Jenny is an occupational therapist and also runs her own business, Dress Up to Calm Down (dressuptocalmdown.com).  We are quite excited to be members of this community!

BELONG: What does belonging to a synagogue mean to you?

Belonging to our synagogue means being part of a close-knit community where our family finds support, celebrates traditions and grows spiritually. It's our spiritual home, where we come together with others who share our values, creating lasting connections and a sense of belonging for us and our children.

HERE: Why did you choose Bet Shalom?

We were drawn to Bet Shalom because both of our kids attend Bet Shalom Yeladim. Through that we have met several members and made some great friends.
