Sagol סגול (Preschool)

Hello Sagol families! 

It’s been so exciting to have our new students in the classroom! They are enjoying the big climber and settling into the preschool routine.

We started off our summer with a simple “get to know you” theme and fun beach dramatic play. Our students loved laying out their towels and relaxing during free play! 

We also did water play for the first time this week. Students practiced changing into their water clothes independently, and had lots of fun splashing around in the water tables. 

With such a calm week we’ve had lots of time to work on fun art projects. Students painted jellyfish and attached pipe cleaner “tentacles”, painted paper plates with “pizza sauce” and glued on paper toppings, and spent lots of time practicing their scissors and gluing skills. We even got to give our dinosaurs a bath! 

Happy birthday to Kate! We hope you enjoy your day and we’re excited to celebrate with you on Monday! 

Finally, we want to thank everyone for their flexibility and understanding this week. We can’t wait to have our full class back next week; we’ve missed our friends at home!
