Kahol כחול (Younger Toddler)

Shalom kahol families! This week we got ready for the holiday of Rosh Hashanah! Apples and honey for a sweet new year!

We did two different art projects this week to celebrate the new year!

The first was our classic bubble wrap stamping that when done gives a cool honeycomb effect. The kiddos loved not only dabbing yellow and orange paint around on the paper but also loved getting some finger paint fun in the mix too! Teacher Tira made some cute little bee friends to buzz around the hives!

The second project was apple stamping! We cut real apples in half and stamped them red, yellow and green paint. Then onto the paper it went! The littles were a little confused at times that they weren't allowed to eat the apples but we thankfully didn't experience any nibbles.

Outside we have been having lot of great times playing and experiencing cooler weather. Our sagol friends had caught a grasshopper and shared that experience with us! The kahol students were amazed by the close up of our little buggy friend!

As things cool down please remember to start bringing a jacket and some light mittens to keep our kiddos nice and warm!

All the best,

Teacher Tira and Teacher Jen.
