Board Track Racer (Mark Ryan Winery) 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon @ $25 - Columbia Valley, WA:  Winemaker notes: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. Dark notes of ripe blackberry, black currant, cigar box, and baking spices on the nose. On the palate this wine has vibrant acidity, firm tannins and a full body. Intense flavors of ripe blackberries, tobacco, and vanilla lead to a savory, spicy finish.   

Dunham Cellars – 2020 Trutina 53% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon @ $32 – Columbia Valley, WA: Winemaker notes: Layered aromas of black currant, black cherry and fig swirl around the glass with additional hints of tobacco, leather and vanilla. The lush palate is loaded with red fruits reminiscent of maraschino cherry, raspberry and plum. Subtle notes of nutmeg and cola and a beautiful, balanced acidity carry the wine through its savory and satisfying finish.  

Gorman Winery – 2021 The Devil You Don't Know, Syrah 58%, Grenache 40%, Mourvedre 2%   @ $32 - Columbia Valley, WA: Wine Spectator: A generous and savory red, with zesty smoked cherry, cranberry and grilled anise flavors that build richness toward snappy tannins. Drink now through 2031. 2,400 cases made.

Efeste 2019 Lil' Mama 100% Cabernet Sauvignon @ $25 – Red Mountain, Columbia Valley, WA: Wine Enthusiast: The aromas are fruit-forward, with notes of raspberry compote, dried herb, whole green pepper and spice, showing some reduction. Full-feeling red- and blue-fruit flavors follow. It's a big ol' bowl of fruit made in a fruit-forward, opulent style.

 Gorman Winery – 2021 Old Scratch 100% Cabernet Sauvignon @ $35 – Red Mountain, Columbia Valley, WA:  Wine Spectator: Brooding in structure yet lively, with red currant, orange peel and sandalwood accents that build tension toward medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2030. 1,800 cases made.
