Piattelli Torrontes 2020 @ $13.99

Winemaker notes: wonderful tropical sweetness and richness. It has floral, and sweet tropical fruit aromas. It shows plenty of dried-lemon, grapefruit, and apple character. Layered and delicious. Crisp & balanced finish.

Vinous: 100% Torrontés from Cafayate, Calchaquí Valley, was made with filtered must. The classic, fragrant nose features rose, orange blossom and a hint of basil. Expansive on the palate with moderate fat, the bold, uncomplicated expression is leavened a touch by the acidic finish.

Achaval Ferrer Mendoza Malbec 2018 @ $21.99

Winemaker notes: Malbec Mendoza is an inevitable reflection of the variety that is emblematic to our country, the mountainous ranges of the Andes and the sun. Composed of various vineyards, located in the major geographic references that the Cuyana province offers....

Tim Atkin: Achával Ferrer’s “entry-point” Malbec is a pan-Mendoza blend from six sub-regions: Agrelo, Gualtallary, Los Chacayes, Medrano, Paraje Altamira and Perdriel.

James Suckling: Attractive cassis and blueberry aromas here with a swathe of crushed violet flowers. The palate has a very supple and smooth core of fresh red plums that offer a fleshy and smooth ride to the finish.

Flechas de Los Andes Gran Corte 2012 (Malbec 60%/Cab Franc 20%/Syrah 20%) @ $26.99

Wine Enthusiast: Classic Uco Valley aromas of deep berry fruits are touched-up by cheesy oak that lends tobacco and vanilla to the nose. On the palate, this blend of Malbec, Syrah and Cab Franc is choppy, acidic and still raw after years in the bottle. Cherry, plum and raspberry flavors are Bordeaux-like, while staunch acidity returns on the finish. Drink through 2028—this will last for ages.

James Suckling: A rich and juicy red on the nose with chocolate, dark berry and spice undertones.
Medium to full body, round and soft tannins and a savory finish. Opulent style yet rich
and clean.

Casa Silva Los Lingues Vineyard Carmenere 2019 @ $19.99

Winemaker notes: Deep ruby with a violet rim. On the nose, intense, with notes of ripe black fruits with hints of wild forest fruits. On the palate, good balance between fruit and oak, good structure, powerful, sweet and round tannins, and notes of boysenberries and hints of tobacco. Excellent finish.

Vinous: The nose presents pyrazine, ripe blackberry, white pepper and woody notes. In the mouth, it is slightly indulgent, rich and juicy with firm, ripe, well-polished tannins and a long, enjoyable finish.

Casa Silva Los Lingues S38 Single Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 @ $29.99

Wine Enthusiast: An immediately appealing nose is deep and cedary and offers plentiful blackberry, tobacco, vanilla and mocha aromas. While this is a touch choppy and tannic in feel, it's also far from dull. Chocolaty oak forms the top and bottom layers of the flavor profile, with blackberry and spiced plum in the middle. A toasty finish with smoky oak and tannic ribbing.
