Yarok ירוק (Pre-K)

We have had a wonderful first week of school together. Much of our time has been spent learning about our new classroom procedures, exploring classroom tools and play areas, and spending time with our new friends!

We welcome our new students from Preschool; Anna, Eve, Kate, and Kellan as well as Levi who is new to Bet Shalom.

This week, we read a note that the past pre-k kids wrote us, and learned all about being a pre-k student. We started making a book about all the new things we are learning about our classroom including procedures for carpet time, how to use the bathroom, and even how to use crayons! Expectations and routine are at the core of the pre-K classroom and we are starting right away!

Also, on every Friday from this point on, we will be having Show and Tell. I will send a reminder post for our first Show and Tell this coming week, and will give reminders in class so your child can be thinking about what they would like to bring.
