Yarok ירוק (Pre-K)

Hello Pre-K Families,

It is bittersweet to be celebrating the last week of summer session together. We are so joyful for our Yarok students moving forward to new schools, yet they will be deeply missed! Congratulations to Adam, Alana, Bodhi, Cal, Eleanor, Jack, Madison, Mia, Noah and Zander for a year of learning and fun together in the Yarok classroom. Best wishes in Kindergarten and the years ahead. Come back and visit us! :)

Our dress up days this week were a hit! On beach day we dressed in our summer finest and made an accompanying beach craft. Our stripes and polka dots day and pajama day had us feeling comfy, and everyone wowed in their new tie dye!

To celebrate the end of the summer session for all our friends in Yarok, we made popsicles, and enjoyed them after playing outdoor games, experimented like scientists at making slime, with found success in the end.

We also had a "movie theater showing" complete with tickets, popcorn, lemonade refreshments, and theater seating! We watched an episode of the Magic School Bus by popular demand.

We also made and decorated cupcakes, as well as wrote an advice letter for the incoming preschool students.

We enjoyed our last week shared together, and are excited by all the good things to come.

To the parents, thank you. You have been dedicated, helpful, and all together lovely. We couldn't ask for more supportive families for these students or our classroom. Thank you for the honor of nurturing your child in mind and body and giving us the chance to experience the world through their eyes. It has been a delight.
