Kahol כחול (Younger Toddler)

Shalom families!

This week turned into a week of Sensory fun! We did plenty of tactile and fine motor activities.

A classic Kahol activity is a fine motor game where the kids are given pipcleaners and a box with holes cut into the top. They were then encouraged to put the materials into the box through the holes. It takes a lot of focus and determination to get just right.

Pompoms was another tactile activity that is always a blast. We typically play on the floor, at the table, or in our sensory bin filled with beans! The fluffy balls of floof are fun to squish and sort.

Water painting is not only a simple and less messy project but also a wonderful sensory experience when it comes to sight! The water doesn't dampen the paper quickly so with each stroke of the paint brush their pictures slowly take form!

We again had fun going outside this week! We have been super listeners and keep off the big climber. Teachers remind the littles that they may be big boys and girls but they are not big kids.

We had a bittersweet goodbye to our friend Zoe. She is a wonderful little girl who is off to have amazing adventures.

We also say a big hello to our new friend Levi! Another friend means new laughs and new ways to have fun. Welcome Levi!

We hope you have a fun and safe weekend!

Kind regards,

Teachers Tira and Jen
